On the grounds of the Koelnmesse, everything revolves around new games, upcoming releases, innovative technologies, and the latest trends in the industry for several days. Visitors can try out numerous games ahead of their release, experience big shows, and meet well-known personalities from the gaming and streaming scene.
But Gamescom is no longer limited to the trade fair grounds alone. During the event, gaming fever can be felt throughout Cologne. Events, parties, and activities ensure that the city remains full of life even after the fair closes for the day.
From the Mercure Hotel Cologne Belfortstrasse to Gamescom
The Mercure Hotel Cologne Belfortstrasse is located on the left bank of the Rhine and offers a convenient starting point for a visit to Gamescom. The Koelnmesse in Cologne-Deutz is just a few kilometers away and can be reached quickly by public transport.
After a long day at the fair, the hotel, with its comfortable rooms, breakfast offering, and central location, would actually be an ideal place to unwind.
Unfortunately, there is disappointing news for Gamescom visitors this year: the Mercure Hotel Cologne Belfortstrasse is already fully booked during Gamescom. Staying at the hotel during this period is therefore no longer possible.
