Green KeyResponsibility in everyday operations rather than big words: our hotel holds the international Green Key eco-label and is certified by the ADFC as a Bett+Bike property. We watch our energy, water and waste, choose regional and organic products at breakfast — and our central location makes low-car travel easy.
Sustainability is not a marketing label here — it is part of daily operations, measured by the Green Key eco-label that is reviewed every single year. We focus on what really matters in a hotel: saving resources, buying consciously and making car-free arrival as easy as possible.
Green Key is an internationally recognised environmental award for tourism businesses. It is not granted once but reviewed every year against strict criteria — from water and energy use to cleaning, purchasing and staff training.
Yes. Our hotel holds the international Green Key eco-label, which is reviewed every year by an independent body. You can view the current Green Key certificate here. In addition, we are certified by the ADFC as a Bett+Bike property for cycle travellers.
The easiest way is car-free: subway lines 16 and 18 stop 2 minutes away on foot, the main station is within walking distance, and KVB hire bikes are right outside. If you do come by EV, you’ll find 2 chargers at 22 kW each on site. More on the Location & Directions page.
At the buffet we focus on regional and organic products and a dedicated vegan selection. Short supply chains, less packaging and conscious choices are part of a good start to the day. Details on the Breakfast Restaurant page.
Even small things help: reuse your towels (hang them on the hook), switch off the lights and air conditioning when you leave the room, and use public transport or a hire bike to get around the city. Thank you for joining in.
