Frequently asked questions.

Take underground line U16 or U18 from Breslauer Platz/Hbf to Reichenspergerplatz — one stop, then 2 minutes on foot. Alternatively a taxi (about 8 €) or 15 minutes on foot.

For most inner-city journeys a short-distance or single ticket is enough. A 24h day ticket (about 9 €) is worth it from 3 trips a day. The KVB app is recommended.

In the Agnesviertel: Ritter Wülfing (3 minutes from the hotel) or the classic Päffgen brewery pub. Both without a tourist mark-up, with well-poured Kölsch and Cologne specialities.

A museum day: Museum Ludwig (contemporary art), the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum (classical) and the Romano-Germanic Museum (antiquity) are all close to the Cathedral. In between, a coffee at Café Reichard with a Cathedral view.

The Cathedral (a must), the Hohenzollern Bridge + a walk along the Rhine, Museum Ludwig or the Chocolate Museum, and the Belgian Quarter for a stroll. All doable in a single day.

We don’t have our own rental, but KVB rental bikes are right at Reichenspergerplatz. Download the app, register and off you go. For longer tours we recommend rentals such as Radstation Köln or Mobike.
